Earn up to 20,000 gold if you collect all the treasures & gems then defeat the Popokarimou when you replay Chapter 4-1.

Collect Gems When Activating Statues
Resident Evil 5 Gold Farming 2017
After reaching the final area with all the statues, pick up all the gems dropped by each statue as they retreat back into the wall. These sell for 1,000 each and you can get up to 6 gems in this area.
Defeat Boss For 10K Worth Soul Gem
In the final area, you'll face off with another Popokarimou. Make sure to pack a Rocket Launcher, use the Grenade Launcher, plant Proximity Bombs, or use grenades to defeat it. It'll drop a Soul Gem worth 10,000 cash.

Check Walls & Skeletons For Gems
The mission area has a lot of walls & bones that have treasures hidden in them. Watch out for shining items on the ground or above you so you can pick them up.
Open Chests For Treasures & Gems
The chests in this stage contain both treasures and gems. Whenever you spot one, open them to pick these treasures up.
Chapter 3-1 Marshlands Money Farm Guide
Can Earn 10K Gold When Replayed
Chapter 3-1 Marshlands is another good stage to farm for money in Resident Evil 5. This area has many spots with gems, chests with treasures, and even a Rocket Launcher! You can earn up to 10k in a short amount of time.

There are several spots in this game that you can find skulls & wooden posts with gems & beetles perched on them. Look for a shiny sparkle and head towards that direction to gather these treasures.

There are several locations in this area that will house chests containing idols & statues. Make sure to open all chests and grab these treasures as they sell for quite a lot of money.
Collect Gold Eggs From Chicken Farm
In the middle of the map, you can find a chicken farm in the Marshlands. Though random, you can pick up a Gold Egg in this chicken farm which sells for 1,000.
Save & Quit Before Reaching Village
Before you open the village gate, save & quit your game. This way you can repeat the mission and gather the same items, earning your more money in a shorter amount of time.
Fastest Farm Specific Monsters
Reapers Drop Power Stone Worth 5,000
Defeating Reapers will make them drop Power Stones. Selling these off will net you up to 5,000. Reapers are dangerous & can one-shot kill you, so be careful. When you get the Power Stone, save & quit then replay the mission to farm the item.

Lickers Drop Lion Heart Worth 2,500
Taking down Lickers will make them drop gems called Lion Heart. When sold, they will garner you 2,500. Specific stages will have a lot of Lickers so it's worth rinse & repeating these specific missions.

Use To Upgrade Or Purchase Weapons
The main purpose of money in this game is to upgrade or purchase weapons in the shop. Upgrading will make your weapons more powerful & can unlock infinite ammo. And you can purchase weapons that you missed in different missions.
