It ran last time he used it does anyone know the year and model of this one dont see that info on it. Has metal caseing going to take it in. The Stihl 044 C is the first chain saw with the Catalytic converter. There is a diagram in the manual showing the location. Serial number to activate VMWare 6. Locate the serial number for your saw. This is placed in different places for different saws. Stihl chain saws, for example, have the serial number printed on the crankcase or the motor housing.
